Symptom:

I installed a new GM crank sensor and the CPM NEEDS TO RELEARN CPK crankshaft position sensor.

Foxwell NT510 scanner is confirmed to communicate with 07 BMW E90 328xi and troubleshoot.

Tip: the serial number is on the "set up" menu and "about" sub title. You can find the serial number and the password there.

So what would be the difference between Foxwell scan tool and Carly app in terms of diagnostics? I know coding wise there are pros and cons between them

Dear Richard XX ordered and received a Foxwell NT204 code reader on 10/5/17,he successfully updated the unit using NT Wonder v5. However he was having difficulty registering the unit with FoxwellTech. Have the serial no but no password to register the product. He was reluctant to connect to my car until this matter can be resolved.

Has anyone tried the iCarsoft POR II equipment on an early 996?

I have found a full PIWIS set-up incl laptop... for €1355, however this icarsoft gear is only around £150 so I'm feeling it might be worth a try. Trouble is I have now bought 4 of these cheaper readers (£30-70 region) and they aren't really much good.
